It's insane how many people are jacked for his return. I had been watching his old videos for the car crash type of amusement but there are a lot of people that really want his return. And you're right, most people that weren't fans say their first memory of Flair was when they starting watching WCW during the NWO's time.

I'll say this about the Warrior. I've got plenty of friends who were never wrestling fans. But all of them remember the Ultimate Warrior. In fact, if you ask a non-wrestling fan to name some wrestlers they can remember from the 80's, they'll say Hogan, Andre, Piper, and Warrior.

FWIW, I bet not one of them would say Ric Flair.

This game should have a faster pace than Smackdown vs RAW and maybe be a bit more fun with all the high flying stuff. And it's coming out before SVR so I wonder if it will affect its sales. I'm sure it will get them noticed.

Dude, I might be mistaken but it seems Jay Lethal might have dropped his Savage gimmick. There might be some hope here.

Totally agree with that last paragraph about TNA and the corny stuff. They have an opportunity to be a serious wrestling company, thus giving us an alternative to WWE, but they just blow it by, well, blowing.

I wish Russo and Jarrett would understand that TNA needs to be the alternative, and not the cheap imitation.

Cool! I remembered my login/password on the first try :)

My biggest problem with the draft is that there has never been a storyline reason for doing it every year. It's not like an NFL draft, which takes place at the same time every year and is done for reasons that make sense.

I don't like it when fans/websites talk about "the draft" before WWE announces it. By doing so, you're showing them that you expect it every year and are just giving them permission to continue doing it each year at a random time in the summer and for a random (or imaginary) storyline reason.

So there. My big return.

I was so mad when I read the news this morning. Regal was a big part of the reason RAW was becoming great again. And yes, last night was great - not just good or watchable.

So I watched ECW. I read the spoilers for Smackdown.

Now maybe it's just me, but when there were only five announced matches one week before the pay per view, I thought maybe the final three shows leading up would give us more matches.

RAW - Gave us the women's title match, bringing our grand total to six matches out of the usual eight.

ECW - Completely forgot there was a pay per view, other than the supposed build up to Kane and CM Punk V. Miz and Morrison. I mean, it was a bit of a build up, but it was really sort of boring to me. I thought if it was either CMPunk V. Miz or Morrison V. Kane it would have been fine, but having both just seemed annoying. New matches? NONE.

Smackdown - While I don't want to overly give anything away, suffice it to say it was ALL buildup to Edge V. Undertaker. New matches? NONE.

So yeah, with the last show before the PPV already taped, there are SIX matches announced. Even WWE.Com has no more information on what they're going to do.

That's fucking ridiculous.

Why would I buy a PPV with no build toward two of the matches, whatever they may be, a match for the World championship that is just a part three of the on going war, with nothing new to it, other than the finish needs to be different, a women's title match with melina randomly thrown into it, an Tag match involving a champion whose title should ACTUALLY be on the line, an intercontinental title match over one person accusing the other of lying only for the liar to admit it, proving there's no reason to fight, and a match between JBL and Cena that barely makes sense? The only match I'm sort of looking forward to is the main event between HHH and Orton, but we all know there are only two ways for that match to end, so really, what's the point? Either HHH wins again, or Regal turns off the lights and no one wins. Either way, what's the point?

I think they should have either had HBK show he was faking right when Jericho accused him or waited until Judgement Day. Instead he did it last night. Of course he's been showing us he was faking for weeks by constantly supporting himself on his bad leg.
