I think part of the reason I wrote about how much I enjoyed Lockdown was my experience watching it. I watched it with several people and I think I was one of the few enjoying it. Everyone else had to talk about how much it sucked. Curry man is wack. This MMA shit is stupid. Super Eric is retarded. Several people said NOTHING positive the whole time. Now I’ve done my fair share of whining about the current state of things and yes, I am one of those people that has bitched in the past about how things aren’t as great as the attitude era but shit. If you don’t like it, stop watching. Stop watching, write some letters, make a youtube video – whatever. But whatever you do – DON’T watch every show, every PPV (I know it’s cool to not pay and whine about a free show but everyone that paid thinks you’re an asshole – seriously) and say shit like how much more you like Japanese wrestling. I mean I think this is the only form of entertainment where people tune in knowing they won’t like it. I mean do people that hate TRL watch it every day? Do people buy CD’s of music they can’t stand? Do people tivo shit they don’t want to watch? Do they go to 10,000 BC three times in a row because of how crappy it is? Hell no. So face it. You like wrestling. I know it’s cool on the internet to act like you don’t but you obviously do. That’s right, you people that choose to watch wrestling instead of the million other things you could be doing, actually like it. How do I know? You assholes that pissed and moaned the whole time during Lockdown said “See you at Backlash” when it was over.
